Richard - Co-Founder, Director & Non-Domestic Energy Assessor
As one of EPC-HUB's three founders and a Director of the company, Richard has been involved in building the business from the ground up and continues to play an important role in shaping its future.
Richard qualified as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) in 2022 and has since developed extensive hands-on experience assessing a wide variety of commercial properties. Based in Nottingham, he travels throughout the country carrying out commercial EPC assessments and supporting clients with accurate, practical advice throughout the process.
His approach reflects the values EPC-HUB has been built around: professionalism, reliability and friendly, attentive customer service. Richard takes pride in making sure clients feel supported from initial enquiry through to completion, while maintaining the accuracy and professional standards required for commercial energy assessment.
He is particularly passionate about helping EPC-HUB continue to grow while developing strong, long-term relationships with clients across the UK.
Family is a major part of Richard's life. He enjoys spending his time away from work with his long-term partner and their two children. He's also a keen golfer and enjoys getting out on the course whenever the opportunity arises.
Tommy - Co-Founder & Business Development Director
Tommy is a commercial energy assessor and Co-Founder of EPC-HUB, leading the company's business development, key client relationships and strategic growth.
Before moving into commercial energy assessment, Tommy spent more than five years working within the electronic security sector. He progressed into a Team Manager position, developing considerable experience in leadership, customer service and business development along the way.
In 2024, Tommy decided to pursue a new career within commercial energy assessment. He brought that previous experience with him, combining a strong customer-focused approach with technical industry knowledge and a genuine interest in developing long-lasting client relationships.
Since entering the industry, Tommy has worked with organisations across healthcare, education, retail, industrial and wider commercial property sectors.
At EPC-HUB, he is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing important client relationships and supporting the continued development of the company's nationwide service. His focus is on providing clear advice, dependable service and a straightforward route through commercial energy compliance.
Tommy is passionate about helping organisations navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment without losing the responsive, professional and personal service EPC-HUB is known for.
Tommy enjoys spending time with his fiancée Amy and their three children. Away from work, he's a keen golfer and motorsport enthusiast, with other interests including sim racing, cycling and travelling with his family.
Matt - Co-Founder & Financial Director
Matt brings nearly two decades of commercial energy assessment industry experience to EPC-HUB.
His involvement in the sector began in 2008, when he founded NRGR8 Limited, one of the UK's early specialist commercial energy assessment companies. Since then, he has built extensive industry knowledge alongside a reputation for practical expertise, dependable results and exceptional service.
As Co-Founder and Financial Director of EPC-HUB, Matt brings that experience to the company's operational and strategic development, with a particular focus on creating processes that deliver a consistently high standard of service.
Central to this is the “Single Touch” process, developed by Matt and now sitting at the heart of the EPC-HUB approach. Single Touch is designed to streamline the assessment journey, improve efficiency and help create a smooth, consistent experience for every customer.
His commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence plays an important role in EPC-HUB's ambition to provide a dependable commercial energy assessment service to organisations across the country.
Matt is first and foremost a family man. He is approaching 41 years of marriage to his wife, Trae, and is a proud father of two and grandfather of four.
He's also an amateur musician with a particular passion for bass guitar and enjoys composing jazz fusion music in his spare time. Like Richard and Tommy, Matt is a keen golfer and is regularly working on taking a few more strokes off his handicap.
